Join Us!

Each Friday we explore a different lake or river, and you're welcome to join us! For these special trips, we invite you to bring your own kayak (no charge) or rent one from us at a special Friday price.  We will have some Friday evening lake paddles...  And lots of other fun outings planned!

Pre-registration by email 48 hours ahead of time is required if you want to rent a kayak or are bringing your own and want to be part of a cooperative shuttle for river trips.  Times and meeting locations will be posted about a week before the outing.

May 31- Rum River, St. Francis to Ramsey

June 7th- Cannon River

June 14th- No field trip this week

June 21- Upper St. Croix, Grantsburg, WI

June 28- Evening paddle Parker Lake, Plymouth

July 5th- Evening Paddle at Silver Lake, Columbia Heights

July 12th- Upper Kinni, River Falls

Friday July 19th- No field trip

July 26th- Evening Paddle at Bush Lake, Bloomington

July 31-Aug 4th- Cuyuna Mine Pits 

August 9th-  Namekagon/ St. Croix

August 16th- Lake Minnewashta, Carver County

Aug 23rd-25- Root River

Aug 30- Lower Kinni, River Falls (for experienced paddlers)

September 6th- Bois Brule

September 13th- Grey Cloud Island

September 20th- Upper Iowa River (location TBD)

September 27th- St. Croix Taylor's Falls to Osceola
