Join us for our season finale... a short paddle on the Mississippi from Brooklyn Park to Fridley. We’ll stop to hang out at the Islands of Peace along the way so bring a snack and a beverage or two.
Come in costume or dress up your kayak if you want! Or just come as you are.
We will meet at 1 PM and plan to be out for a couple of hours at least. Shuttling will also add time on each end. The paddle itself is only 3 miles.
We will meet at 1 PM at the END point (the boat launch in Riverfront Regional Park in Fridley) to arrange cooperative shuttling. If you get a ride one way you will need to give others a ride the other way until everyone is back to their vehicle with their kayak. Or you can arrange your own transportation and just meet us at the start.
Kayak rentals may be available with advance reservations, $40 plus tax.
Dress for the weather and bring a dry bag with extra clothes just in case of a mishap.
Trip will be weather permitting. If it's too cold, windy, or rainy we will cancel. RSVP to booking@twincitieskayaking.com
