Spend Friday afternoon on the water at Lake Minnewashta in Carver County! Meet us at the beach at Lake Minnewashta Regional Park at 1 pm or whenever you can get there. We’ll be there for a couple of hours. Join us with your own kayak or paddle board. Or if you don’t have one, email us in advance and we can bring you a rental. Friday Sept 25th, we will paddle the Mississippi and Minnesota Rivers starting at Hidden Falls and ending at Harriet Island
The trip is about 7.5 miles, 3 hours depending on our pace and stops along the way. Bring a snack and beverages along.
Join with your own kayak (no charge) or rent from us for $59 plus tax, with an advance reservation.
Email us if you plan to join and want to get in on cooperative shuttling. We will arrange to meet at the start at NOON to drop gear and then shuttle some vehicles down to the end. Everyone should plan to give others a ride one way or another. We will try to be on the water by 1 PM. Contact us by email booking@twincitieskayaking.com to RSVP.
